The Best of Times Cooking

Inspired by the story of a woman who lost all her recipes in a fire, along with her cook book colllection, I signed on to help replace some with my own favorite recipies. Once I got started, I realized this was one way to make my recipes available to my nearest and dearest if they will bookmark the blog.

Gourmet Tips Judy

Everyone likes to have a really great recipe for which they become famous. This one belongs to Judy who insists she got it from one of those little recipe cards you can pick up in the stores. I guess gustatory greatness is in knowing which one is a keeper!

Gourmet Tips Judy

1 – 1.5 Lb. Sirloin Tips, trimmed
1 Cup ketchup
1/2 cup melted butter
2 T. oil
1 clove Garlic
1 T. lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Saute garlic in a dutch oven or deep skillet. Add meat and brown. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Or bake 1 hour in oven at 350.
