Brigham's Hot Fudge Sauce
Brigham’s famous fudge sauce is awesome. This comes really close. Serve over Ice Cream, or make brownie sundaes, or waffle sundaes. Or just dip your finger in the jar….that’s been done!
Brigham's Hot Fudge Sauce*
1/2 cup butter
5 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 pound confectioner's sugar, sifted
1 can evaporated milk tall size
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes (maybe longer) until thick. Add vanilla. Serve warm. Reheats well, stirring often in the micro at half power. This will keep refrigerated at least 1 month. Sure it will!! ;-)

This is NOT the Brighams hot fudge sauce recipe. The real recipe uses cocoa powder (Dutch 24% fat) and no unsweetened chocolate. It also uses sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, modified food starch, salt and vanilla and of course water.
